Hey guys, I see there is a new model with a steel insert in the lockbar and no over travel stop. Does anybody know where to get this new version?
 
Old news really. The over travel has been built into the steel lock insert. I don't have one of these but they seem to have been around for a few months now, maybe longer. I was surprised when I first saw it myself.
 
I just got one from amazon (best price around) and it has the insert. I like it. At first it was a little sticky but now (2 days later) it's got no stick whatsoever
 
Thanks for posting this OP. Reminded me to pick up a spare ( old model) in case I lose my carry knife. :D

negitive. as soon as i got it home i went out the shop and took it apart to check if there was. sadly there isnt. I was thinking I would hate the AO part of the knife, but i actually quite like it. Because of the large and heavy blade its almost slow motion.

Bummer about the detent hole, but glad you're liking yours :)
