Hi,wanted to see how many have the new ZT-350CB.
Ordered one from Kershaw guy.Super fast and excellent service.
The knife came very sharp from the Kershaw factory.
Very nice flipper action.Very comfortable in handI think this is the first ZT knife with a composite blade.
The blade looks great with the 2 steels, the german Elmax and the swedish 14C28N.
Nice pattern where the 2 steels merge together.
Will like to hear from people who have this knife, and what their take is,thanks.

I have one on order from Kershawguy. If it is anything like the other Kershaw composite blades I own, it will be a fantastic knife.

Placed my order today :D but its not for me :(

My brother really likes the 350 and his b-day is coming up so I figured it would be a good one to get. I'm sure he'll be happy.

Hi,appreciate the link to that thread.Would it be possible for you to post a comparison picture of the ZT-0350 CB with the regular black bladed S30V version of the ZT-0350.Thanks.

This is an awesome knife guys, I think it is the nicest pattern yet in the composite blade. Check out these photos.

These 0350's are a really sweet knife!! This smaller version of the 0300 is a great size for pocket carry and not as cumbersome as it's big brother. The compoite blade is a sweet bonus. Love the sawtooth pattern.

I am really liking the ELMAX steel. Cut with it today about a dozen times and you can't even tell I used it.

Nice pics Dave!

Love those pics! The 0350 is a perfect size for EDC. Love my stone washed KW version. The weld pattern on this CB version reminds me of dolphin fins. Very fitting for a knife from Oregon. :D

Actually, it would be more appropriate if the weld pattern looked like seagull poo after it had splattered on the hood of your ride. That would more in line with an Oregon theme....

Dolphin fins or shark fins, that "weld pattern",really makes the blade look good.
This question is for ThomasW or other Kershaw experts.
Do the ELMAX steel and the 14C28 steel go all the way from the spine to the sharkfin pattern and then the ELMAX steel goes to the edge or does the ELMAX steel start close to the pattern and extend to the edge?.
Know the some bladesmiths ,doing a laminate steel knife have the outer cladding in a stainless steel and the inner in a steel that is not stainless, but one that can take and hold a great edge.

The pattern line is the separation between the two steels. 14c28 above the line, Elmax below.

sorry Raj, I never did answer this question for you, am I fired ? Like stated above , they are two separate metals bonded together not overlayed like a clad blade, so as stated by the last poster ( Tom) the line is the separation if that makes sense. Elmax below the line and 14C28 above the line.

Eying the ZT 350 ever since it came out this version pushed me over the edge finally and I got one on order.
Funny thing, first it was like...ok come on why not finally order it along with a few other things I had always on the list since a while. But now the more I look over the available fotos again and again the more the anticipation is rising up to unthought of levels)) :p.
Now what I would like to know, does anybody know the hardness of the blade?
The little what I could find about the elmax seems to indicate 60-62 RC as standard hardness, right?
Is it supposed to be one notch above S30V regarding edgeholding?Or even more like the newer more recent top level edgeholders like ZDP 189 and the like?

Cheers
Alex
