Been my main EDC for a couple of years. I have the 350KW, just because I prefer non-coated blades. Carried a 200KW for awhile, but found it kind of heavy for EDC, the 350 was ligher and slimmer. Both good knives...never really seen any negative comments.

Don't know that there are "better" choices for the price, but there certainly are many other good ones in that price range.

The ZT350 is a good knife. It's not as overbuilt as alot of other ZT's but it's still a strong chunky knife. Unlike most ZT's it's an assisted opener, but it can be d-assisted very easily if you don't like an assisted knife, or if you live in an area where they aren't allowed. The S30V steel that the blade is made of is always a good choice, one of the "Super Steels". The average street price of a 350 is in that sweet spot where there is a lot of competition though. For example, Spyderco and Benchmade to name just a couple, both have great knives in the same price range, although probably not as over built. The ZT 350 really is a good knife, and if it doesn't suit YOU, it maintains its value well, so you could sell it and get something different.

I have three knives in that size and price range. I use my Ritter Griptilian and PM2 a lot more often. I only break out the 350TS when I am in that Leroy Jethro Gibbs mood. It is just too heavy for me to EDC. Of course that is just a personal preference. I spent a lot of money to get one of those new super light smartphones. It doesn't make much sense to me to carry a brick in my other pocket.

I carried a ZT350 for a while and its a nice knife but I like my Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 a lot more.

Cons:
Somewhat heavy
Too short for a comfortable grip
Blade not centered
Pivot needs loctite
Recurve a slight annoyance to sharpen

Pros:
S30V
Warranty
G10 is nicely textured
Looks cool
Cuts stuff
4 way clip position lefty friendly
Flipper is great

IMHO ymmv

Got rid of all my 350s, grip was too short and the end would dig into my little finger. Preferred the ergos of the 200 & 400.

I own one but it never grew on me.
Too bulky, heavy, and small, and the handle is too short and makes my hand feel bunched up.
For slightly more money I would go for a Benchmade Contgo or Adamas if I were looking for an overbuilt, hard use type of knife, or a Spyderco Military or Para 2 for a lighter, more EDC friendly blade.

Thanks everybody for there help, what im doing is i have a benchmade presido ultra and a hide away knife, both brand new as well as a little extra money and im going to a gun show next weekend. Im am defenately getting a manix 2 and im also looking at a assisted zt. Along with what tou said how does the 0561 compair aswell as does anybody have either models for sale? Thanks!

The ZT 0350 is okay - you can pick one up for $85 from the kershawguy (serrated version)

I swapped mine for a Hogue EX03 tanto instead - I like the tumbled finish better -

I like mine a lot , it´s a sturdy folder , mine has the ZDP-189 composite blade , it´s a good choice for a no frills EDC in my opinion.
