ZT 0350 off center again

A couple months ago I was having troubles with the blade of my ZT 0350 rubbing against the liner. I posted a topic here, and a couple people recommended loosening all the screws, wedging the blade with a few pieces of paper, and retightening all the screws. I tried that a few times and it didn't help, so I sent it in to Kershaw's warranty department. About a month ago it came back perfectly centered, and I was happy again. But over the past month of using it the blade has worked it's way off center again (same side), almost to the point where it rubs against the liner. I tried the same recentering technique listed earlier, and again it didn't work. I am now thoroughly cheesed off:mad: Any one have any ideas of what I could do?

Id send it back again and complain that this is the second time your doing this. I bet they give you a brand new knife this time.

If you haven't messed with it since you got it back the only thing it can be is a loose screw.

It sounds strange but put the clip back to where it was when you received it and see if that helps.

I had a similar problem with a Chill and Tenacious. What i found is that my pivots were just a tiny bit too loose and the lock bar would push the blade. I took out the teflon washers from the Chill and replaced them with some Delrin ones with a slightly larger OD (to give the blade more support to help prevent the side play), then tightened up the pivot a little. It didn't take much tightening. Seems to work so far.

The Tenacious has phosphor bronze washers, so I just tightened up the pivot.

Don't forget to use some thread locker on it so it doesn't loosen up.

Even with the pivot tightened down to where the blade won't even open it's still off center so I don't think that's the problem.

Good idea, but it didn't work :(

This seems to be a reoccurring problem with this model. My knife is the exact same as you describe, and numerous others I've seen post about it
