Hi after opting to buy a regular black 0350 for the 5.6oz weight instead of the orange which I read on this forum was around 6.6oz, I just checked the weight on my scale and it weights in at 6.3oz. Anyone know why the weight increase? And can you still find one for 5.6oz any more? I know it's not that much of a weight increase but 5.6oz was pushing it a bit for what I wanted to carry.

i think someone said that the g10 appeared to be thicker on the orange and that maybe the liners too, but I may be mistaken. Maybe it was chester22? Hopefully someone with more know how will shed some light.

I thought the only difference was color of the g10 and blade finish; literally nothing else, let alone anything to deal with weight. The 0350 of any variety will weigh the same on your particular scale as the next one.

The orange 0350 does weigh more. The liners are redesigned, and I am sure that this accounts for most of the change. I have no idea why the liners were changed, or if this change will show up in all future versions of the 0350.

Well hell...you learn something new every day. One reason I love this forum.

Looks like i'm not the only one whos scale shows the 0350 at 6.2...btw my recon 1 and and style cs are the exact weight the company claims on my scale. also found a few mentions of it being 6.2 on youtube reviews.
Botach tatical has it listed at 6.2 as well as a few other websites selling it

Both are excellent knives for what they are. The 030x series is built tougher, but unless you are zombie slaying, the 0350 makes for a great knife. And I agree completely about the 0200. One of the toughest folders I own.
Absolutely on the Titanium liner! That frame lock is a true thing of beauty.

BTW, that 350, according to my digital postal scale, weighs 6.2 ounces. Heavy, but not terribly so. Why ZT releases put it at 4.8 ounces is beyond me. The thinness of the knife makes up a lot for the weight. The first time that I carried it I was prepared to really feel it in my pocket, but it was hardly noticeable. I wasn't even using the clip.

As to the 0200, it is quickly becoming my favorite of the ZT folders. Once I have the 0400 and 0500 I'll be able to decide

Mine weighs in at 5.6oz. I deassisted mine but that can't count for much weight loss.

Well when I called Kershaw yesterday and asked about the weight, they called me back and said they had weighted it and it was in fact 5.6..so how come so many people have 0350s that weight 6.2oz?
