I went to New Graham knives today to look at a ZT 0500 MUD knife, while I was there I picked up and handle a ZT 0350. I fell in love with this knife, it was just perfect. Nice feel, good size, pleasently appealing and the speedsafe is unreal. For those that own or have handle a 350 what is your thought on this knife? Pros and Cons? Is it worth getting this before the 0500?

I have it. It's my EDC. Some people say it's on the heavy side. I find myself checking my pockets to make sure it's still there. I love it.

I thought it was tight when i tried to open it. Nice big knife, but not what I was looking for.

I really love the ZT 0350 except for the pocket clip. I think its too small and its hell to get out of your pocket unless you bend it a little. Locks up like a vault.

The 0350 is a very nice knife. The handles are a great ergonomic shape. I'm not a fan of the flat slabs myself, but it allows it to carry a bit easier.

For hard-use, I would pick the MUDD. The blade and handle are very utilitarian and the seals are a big plus. The opening gets very smooth after it breaks in a bit. I can't think of a way to improve this knife. It is my only blade that I haven't modified.

In short:
EDC - 0350
Hard (dirty) Use - MUDD

The black smooth g-10 one in the second pic is my knife that Mr. Dobson made scales for. Great work.

The 0350's is hawt socks. It's like a Blur and a ZT had a baby...the product betrays the price. Great deal, unkillable knife.

Good steel - S30V - check
Good wear - G-10 and DLC coating
Solid action - super beefy liner lock
Girth - solid in every aspect - thickness, width
Responds very well to a convex regrind.

It IS a folding crowbar that holds a wicked edge. Definite slicer.

I love my 350. But at the moment I'm having trouble put it back together after a cleaning. It's just not setting right after I put it together, the blade is off center and the torsion bar is acting weird. Is there anybody who can show a pics of a 350 breakdown and a reassemble?

Well from all the input I've made my mind up. I'm going to get both, can never have to many. now which one first?

I'd go with the ZT0350. Something to note is that knifeworks.com has an exclusive edition with a satin finished blade instead of the black dlc coated blade.

I sold mine. I sure wish I still had it. I got a strong feeling, I may to have to order another. I like the satin finished ones from knifeworks.
