Many of the limited edition ZT and Kershaw knives regularly sell for upwards of double their retail price on the secondary market. If the same holds true for the 0392 when it's released, they would be selling for more than the actual Hinderer knives. Will that help keep the secondary market prices under control or are people going to be willing to pay more for a factory custom from ZT than an actual Eklipse?

Some people were willing to pay upwards of 1500 for the 0454, with 800 to 1000 being the norm. So my guess is that ZT collectors will pay whatever they need to get one.

I agree people will pay what they can afford and than some to get what they want or feel they need. The 0392 will go for top dollar due to the hype and demand the model is bringing. Just pray to score one off ZT site in first few seconds they wont be there over a minute lol

Very true. It amazes me that the collab will sell for double the original on the secondary market. I saw an Eklipse for sale on another forum for $600 recently. I have no doubt the 0392 will sell for at least double that the day after it comes out. Also, I find it funny that 200 of the 0454's were sold in the U.S. and probably half that number have already been flipped for profit.

Personally I'm interested in this model because I'm into ZT and the limited editions they release. I have several Hinderers but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in the 0392. I want this one because I like ZT almost as much as I like Hinderers. I'm really hoping I can buy one direct but if I can't I will likely get one on the secondary market -- even if it does cost close to an actual hinderer.
