Nice pics! And thanks for the side-by-side shots. Those two look like a spot on match, size-wise.

Thanks Col.. I have neither but am interested in both. I was wondering how they compared. Mike

Very nice comparison. It almost looks like the 0562 would be more comfortable in the hand but sometimes looks can be deceiving.

I love the blade profile of the 0392. Reminds me of the Benchmade Contego.

Unfortunately, I was too slow on the 18th and didn't end up getting a 0392 even though I'd been constantly checking basically every online knife dealer. On the upside, I got my 0801 S110V in the mail on Thursday. Can't justify trying to get a 0392 though, what with those absurd secondary market prices. May as well just buy a real Hinderer.

I find it magically delicious that Hinderers are available for less than 0392s.

Well, Since I'm still waiting... and waiting.... and waiting... on my 562cf ordered last year I appreciate your pic. Here is mine next to my 561, as well as some other family relatives. I've since flipped the clip which makes it fit much more comfortably in my hand. I also really like the blade profile which reminds me a little of a rhinoceros. I got the chance to pick up one of Rick's Eklipse's last year but it has sat in it's box until the arrival of the 0392, which was what I had really fallen for after seeing it at last years Blade show.

I've been really comparing the 562 to the 392 and I have found the 562 goes into and out of the pocket easier. It seems due to the pocket clip location, the notch to reduce the lock spring stiffness catches on the pocket going in and out. The 562 doesn't seem to have this problem.

Anyone else notice that?

The other thing is the 392 flipper has sharp edges, while the 562 is smooth. 562 is much easier on the finger.

Both flip really good with the nod going to the 392. It is faster.

In addition, the bearing assy on the 392 is silver while the 562 is light blue. Definitely some difference there.
