Just looked a Kai's site. Looks like they have changed the blade steel on this one to CTS-204P. Not a major change from M390 really but figured people would want to know.

Well it wouldn't be a zt LE without at least one steel change now would it. All in good fun, no one need to report this back to the mothership.

Cts-204P the domestic equvilent of M390 seems to be an upgrade in my book. Are Zt knives made or just built in USA?

this is currently what the KAI/ZT website says about a release date.

The 0392 is a Limited Edition knife. At present, there is no projections on how many of these knives will be available for purchase or when they will be available.

unless a KAI employee has opened up about the release date.... I would imagine everything else is just a guess

Both! Most if, not all of the parts are made in the USA and then they are assembled in the USA. Unlike SOG that makes most parts in Taiwan or China and then ships them to the USA for assembly. Leatherman does some of the same thing.

From what I understand the main essential parts in all ZT knives are usa made. Blades, liners, handle slabs. The only things that MIGHT be imported are standoffs, washers, bearings things of that sort. But even still those parts may very well be all made in the USA. One thing is for sure they arent importing a kit from taiwan and calling it made in the USA like some companies.
