ZT 0393- Frame Lock Or Linerlock?

Is this knife consider a frame lock or liner lock? I know I really like mine. Seem heavy duty.

ZT's website calls it a frame lock. I can see nothing in the pictures that would make me disagree.

I'd consider it a frame lock as does Zero Tolerance. The CF handles are less of a requirement and more there to shape the handle contour.

The 0393 is a frame lock
The lock bar extends from the scales and you press on it when you handle the knife, IMO this makes it a frame lock and not a liner lock

The0393 is one of my favourite ZT but I would not define it as a heavy duty knife
For sure it can take a lot of abuse but if you compare it to a 0550, to a 0620/0630 or to some knives from other brands you will find knives that will make clear what an heavy (at least heavier) duty knife can be

Definitely a frame lock. There are no liners in the 393, only overlays
