zt 0400. How to fix smooth side?

I have a zt 0400 that I really like and don't like at the same time. First, I love the blade shape. It seems to fit perfectly for my uses. The recurve in the blade seems to grab ahold of anything that I need to cut so that it doesn't just skim off. I also like the blade length and the zt assisted opening is outstanding. Usually I am not a fan of assisted open but something about this one just clicks.

What I don't like is the smooth backside/clip side. I have a hard time holding on to the knife when my palms get the least bit sweaty and am scared that if I really have to push to cut something that my hand will slide up onto the blade.

Has anyone done a mod to fix the smooth back problem, or doesn anyone have any ideas? I have thought maybe take some skateboard type tape with some epoxy to hold it on but I am concerned that it ay be too grippy and rip up my pockets. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Jimping i think its called, make little notches wherever you need extra grip, get a dremel and go to town,I did that with several of my small knives and it makes a little bit of a difference.

he's talking about the 'right' side of the handle, I don't think you'd want to add jimping on black anodized aluminum with a dremel(or maybe you would).

I'd probably add some skateboard grip tape - I don't think you'd need to epoxy it, it's probably sticky enough. Just cut it into the shape you want and don't apply any under the pocket clip.
