I saw a ZT 0450 for sale on the Exchange the other day and noticed the serial number was over 20,000, which kind of surprised me.

So now I'm curious. How low (or high) is the serial number on your 0450? What's the lowest or highest you've seen on someone else's knife?

Mine's ser# 0112

5341. Great knife but too cramped for my hand and sold it. The 0566 serials are getting really high too I believe.

Not a ZT but I have a knife labeled "1 of 500"

First one! Number one! Don't get lower than that!!!

Not sure why we are hiding the actual numbers but I'll play along. Mines ultra rare. The only one with it's number. :)

In today’s internet age, and with the prevalence of identity theft and other types of online fraud, it’s generally not a good idea to share serial numbers. This thought first occurred to me when (at a guitar forum) I read stories of people innocently sharing pictures of their high end guitars with serial numbers visible, only to have someone else doctor up some documentation showing that they owned that particular (numbered) guitar.

With a $200ish knife, perhaps the risk is somewhat less, but I generally make it a habit to keep my serial numbers safeguarded. YMMV

I also posted 15,XXX. The reason? I simply don't recall the last three numbers. I do know that they are both of the 15,000 lot, however. Not trying to hide anything, I just didn't have the knives on me when I posted.
