Hello all!

I've been waiting for few weeks my ZT 0500 MUDD to arrive and I got message it would be delayed again. I also saw retailer sales pretty much same price Spyderco Manix 2.

Both have reputation of hard knives with 154CM blade steel and strong lock. Should I keep waiting ZT 0500 MUDD or should I consider jumping on Manix 2?

The price level is slightly different in here than in the states but I am looking seriously tough knife with good blade steel.

I'd say get both if you have the resources to do so.

If you like beastly hard use knives with solid lock up you owe it to yourself to add a MUDD to your collection. However - it will not be as pocket friendly as the Manix 2 will.

Everyone I have shown the MUDD to has been overwhelmed with the knife - you typically do not see a design like that often.

I'm glad I picked one up. I've been selling off some of my collection lately to generate funds for other purchases - but the MUDD is one on the "here to stay" list.

I picked up a Blem MUDD from Kershawguy on the Exchange forum - and I am glad I did - it's very hard to see what the blem is. You may want to check with him - maybe you can have both and stay in your budget!!!

I believe the MUDD is being discontinued so if it was me I'd be trying to pick one of those up before a Manix 2.
