Probably not a whole lot as I think the general consensus is that this is a true heavy-duty, take care of business knife!:thumbup: I know that I was hesitant to get the first one I did, back around February of this year, as I was afraid it would not be the robust type of knife I like. The 4.9 ounce weight I kept seeing advertised made me think it would be a medium sized knife at best. So took the chance, thinking if I did not like it I could always sell it. But man, let me tell you. As soon as I slid the box out of the package, I knew it was not a 4.9 ounce knife. First thing I did was to put it on the small scales I have and saw that it weighed in at 6.6 ounces, maybe even an ounce heavier as my scales aren't adjusted properly. Maybe this weight fetish I have may not mean a lot to some, but I like my knives to feel like they are actually there in my hand. That heftiness gives me a degree of confidence I don't have with the light weight knives that so abound now. And before someone hops on it, I am not dissin' those light weights, simply not my cup of tea.
It seems that everything about the MUDD just appeals to me. I like the clip point blade, the handle shape is just perfect for my hand, the lockup and the lock itself are VERY solid, and VERY strong, and the blade action is excellent, even though I did have to tighten it up from the factory specs, but that is just me and my analness at work

Just got a black RAM today and it is pretty much the little brother to my MUDD. I like the RAM, in fact there is thread about it, but it will not be replacing my MUDD, in fact at the moment, NOTHING will be replacing my MUDD.....................I like it that much!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
