ZT 0550 & 056X Custom Scales - Post Your Pics!

Just got my first ZT knives, and am now looking for custom scales. It would be cool for people to post up pics of their custom scales and details on where you got them. Opinions on how you like them would be cool too!

Wow! That is funky! I mean that in a good way. I like it.

I showed it to my wife and she said all my "boring knives absolutely suck" when compared to that one.

Here is mine from Gator scales Od green G10 he does a nice job on them they are contoured like the original one.

I got this scale from Rival. Toxic green Kirinite. I think it'd look better paired with an uncoated blade, but the only 0550 I have (for now) is this one.

You guys have some cool scales! For those with Kirinite scales, how smooth are they? Is there any texture at all, or are Kirinite totally smooth?

Polished kirinite is smooth, but not slick.

That is beautiful. I have a Gayle Bradley Spyderco with carbon fiber scales. Would you say that the texture of kirinite is similar to that?

No there is no texture to it at all. Despite being smooth, if you put any pressure on it and try to slide your thumb across it's almost sticky. This is even more noticible with a satin finish.
Someone else may be able to better describe it.
