I was anxiously awaiting the delivery of my new ZT 0550BW last week and the USPS tracking said it would be delivered on Friday 2/28. Alas, that was not to be... So I figured Saturday was a sure bet. Again, disappointment. I checked the location on Sunday and it was only in PA (I'm in NH). Didn't seem like it was looking good for a Monday delivery. Aaaaaggggrrrrrhhhh the agony!

I forgot about it while at work - sort of - and was pleased to see the box on the counter when I got home.

so, without further adieu, here are some pics

with his brothers:

and cousins

And the whole family (minus the 566 who was put to bed for the night...)

thanks for looking!

I was loving the look of the BWs, and really looking forward to getting one....unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by it when it got here - just didn't look nearly as good as the pictures. Yours look far better than mine. Maybe I'll try dropping mine in a container of ball bearings & shaking the snot out of it.

Now you just need a 0551.

trust me, I've thought about it... full house as it were... even a gen 1, although I don't love the pocket clip on the gen 1.
who knows, maybe I'll take a gander over on kershawguys site (again!!!) and see what can separate me from my money this time...

The BW looks awesome although the black blade looks pretty fine too. In comparison my standard 0550 looks so pedestrian :(

Oh yea :)

I have to say, since purchasing my first (plain jane 0550), I've been hooked.
I've historically been all over the map with my knives - Benchmades, SOGs, etc. but since getting my various ZTs I've been on a seemingly possessed mission to buy more, more, more!

I've sold off some autos that I've had in my knife drawer that I never carry, so that has helped free up funds for new purchases.
Also sold some watches that gave me a big infusion of cash that now is burning a huge hole in my wallet.

In the end though, what I'm really excited about is the arrival of my cuscadi scale (today) for my griptilian and the anticipation of some special scales from Rival for the 0550s sometime in April...

This is the first one I get when the knife funds are replenished. Got some scale plans in the works. Can't wait.

looks superb!

didn't know it existed! was looking at the 350bw, it was almost perfect, ALMOST. now it is! thanks!

I have the 0300BW and truth be told, it's the only model where the BW makes sense imo. Because it looks like a rugged caveman knife. The Hinderer models are modern looking and BW on them just doesn't look right. Strictly my opinion though, to each his own.
