ZT 0550 gen 2 question

On my Zt 0550 gen 2 the stainless steel pin on the spine of the blade in front of the standoffs rotates freely when the blade is not resting on it. Not really an issue just wondering if this is standard.
 
Until I stuck my finger in there to move it I would have said that is weird. I checked mine and then checked our inventory, they all rotate!
