Here is the opening process! I was really excited so I used a BK9.















It's new home, outside of my pocket.



First impressions:
It's BUTTER SMOOTH!!! It opens so quickly and easily! Lockup is rock solid and feels great in hand. Looks amazing and carries a little too well. I can't feel it in my pocket! Good thing the clip has good retention. Loving it!
 
I need to get one of these BLK 0550's. I've always wanted to get my hands on a gen 2, and compare it to my gen 1.
 
Very nice. I've been meaning to add one of those to my collection for a long time.
 
Cangrats man the 0550 will become your favorite folder very quickly it's definitely one of my personal favorites.

I am a Spyderco guy, Got my first ZT0550 a while back, the PM2 is now my second favorite production folder.
 
For a while I resisted non-assisted non-flipper knives but I must say, I've changed my tune and I really need to put the 0550 list! Sweet knife, congrats!
 
Just got ANOTHER 0550 from Kershawguy yesterday. They become quite addictive. For such a stout blade, in a non assisted knife, it FLIES open.
