ZT 0550: is this wear near pivot normal?

I just got my frist Ti framelock last week, the ZT 0550. I just noticed this wear on the back of the blade today (probably because it's just getting broken in) I'm assuming this is just because once the blade gets off the ball detent it rubs on the titanium lock a little bit? I just wanted conformation that I'm not doing anything wrong.

When you unlock the knife, make sure you disengage the lock bar far enough so the detent ball doesn't hit the tang as you close it.

Doesn't the lock bar hit the tang when you're opening it too?

Have a little bit on my 550 as well, and I was told it was normal as well. Still a fully functional amazingly-built piece of art!
