ZT 0550 Lockup?

I bought a zt 0550 a few days ago, and the lockup is about 50%. My desired lockup is about 30%, what is the lockup like on your zt 0550, thanks!
 
It's designed to have at least 50%, every example I've seen is like that. This will prevent slipping. And accidental closure on yur hand. I doubt the 20% in question would peovide any measurable safety, but be aesthetically more appealing.
 
My 0550 came in with lock up at 50% as well. Still plenty of room for abusive wear though, so I'm not too worried. I would have liked 30%, but I'm willing to live with it. It's still a brilliant pocket sized testament to slicing technology and materials.
 
I've had 3 so far... still have 2. All have been right at 50% and have stayed there. None have ever shown any signs of slipping or the lockbar bending even under unusually strong spine pressure. Honestly, 50% is about as early as I like on a frame lock. Any earlier than that and I pass the knife on to someone who likes that kind of thing. I am not a fan of early lockups. To my simple mind, more contact equals a more secure lockup.
 
Mines right there 50-55% solid since day one, and I have been edc'ing it pretty good.
 
Mine came at roughly 25% which I was very impressed with. It has since moved to maybe 35%
i must be lucky
