ZT 0550 - My first titanium frame lock

Hi Guys

I have the best wife in the world, she bought me a ZT0550 for my birthday, I lover her so much....I love my wife a lot too!

Anyway, this is my first titanium frame lock. Is there anything I should be aware of? Any do's or don'ts?

Do I need to baby the lock in anyway or should I just "drive it like I stole it" ;)

It may feel really stiff and seem like it is getting lock stick but if you just keep playing with it the it will break in and be smooth. The 0550 is awesome, enjoy it.
 
Got an 0551 (same knife but elmax instead of S35VN) on the way so this should be a good one to watch. I plan on goin full throttle with that thing when it shows up on Friday. Hopefully it doesn't need special treatment
 
no real special treatment necessary its just going to be stiff, and like I said if you start noticing lock stick do not panic simply keep messing with it and it will go away over time.

Hey Newbie Nick. Hows the 550 working out for you? I initially thought it would be too heavy to EDC, but so far I find it rides pretty comfy in my jeans.

I got my first 0550 today and.............. LOVE IT!!!! I got the GEN.1 and its so smooth and rides nice in the pocket! Can't say anything bad about it yet!
