ZT 0550 pivot and handle screws

I was curious if anyone knew if the handle and pivot screw on a zt0550 were SAE or Metric? I would like to replace the black pivot and handle screws with stainless ones. Yeah, I know that Hinderer XM handle screws will work on the 0550, but about 15.00 for a set of 3 seems a bit steep for 3 stainless screws.

I measured one of the handle screws on my zt0550, and the head diameter is about .250, length is about 1/4", and the thread diameter is about .133-.134 with 6-7 threads in the 1/4 inch length. The closest SAE screw I can find is a 6-28x1/4.

Any info or recommendations would be appreciated.

Don't know if it is the answer you are looking for, but you could always polish the factory screws yourself. Some jewelers rouge would do the trick. I emailed Kershaw and they sent me a new set of screws and I polished the up myself.
