ZT 0550 std. scale mod.

This is the second mod to the scale that comes with the knife. Added the cross lines to improve the grip after removing the original surface texture. Scale has a carbon fiber look. Is not rough on the pocket any more and feels good in my hand.

What method did you use to make the lines?

Marked scale with pencil for my layout position. Used a small hacksaw with thin blade. Finished using a jewelers rat tail file for finished depth and width. Applied mineral oil to the scale.
