ZT 0550 SUPER blem!!!

Ok, so I've posted about my 0550 blem only being a blem because the "Hinderer Design" mark doesn't line up with the strike. However, today, while clearing it of pocket lint bunnies, I noticed that the scale side liner is actually drilled for both gen. 1 AND gen. 2! Wouldn't this bonus actually negate the blem as I can place any scale on and be able to use it without drilling and tapping? :D :D BONUS!!!

Anyone else noticed this on their gen. 2, blem or not?

That is really neat man! I have a regular gen 2 0550 and been thinking about getting a gen 2 blem. I wonder how many were like that?
 
WOW, you are correct, my 0550 blem has both hole patterns on the scale side liner.

and I have a Gen 1 scale to pimp, cool.
 
Linda posted in a thread at one point that during the switchover several of the Gen2's went out this way. I can't remember off the top of my head how mine was. I remember that my Gen2's G10 scale is a Gen1 scale, but I can't remember how the liner is tapped.
 
Only really helps if you're a lefty, which I am. However my 0550 had a hole taped anyway.

Cool though, that's certainly a nice touch there if you're inclined to use them. :)

Ahhhh, but you forget those right handed gents that like to carry their 'big and beefies' back right pocket, which I am not. Just a heads up for those that may use the lefty mounting options... ;)
