ZT 0551/0550; One Last Time

OK, I know the 0551 has been out for a while now.
It's a limited production run and I assume it's price reflects that.
Lowest I've seen it is around $200 even.
So, when is the 0550 supposed to be released?
And might I expect its price to be lower than that of the 0551?

There's no firm date on the 0550, and all of the sites that are taking pre-orders for it indicate that the price will be the same as the 0551 (MSRP of $250, MAAP of $200).
 
Haven't read all of the posts on this much Anticipated knife, but it does look nice. I really like the loss in weight compaired to the 301, wonder how they did it. (I have a 301 :) )

Well, the 551 is quite a bit smaller than the 0301. Here is a pic of my 0551 next to one of my 0301's.

ThomasW posted in one of the other threads and mentioned a May/June timeline, if I remember correctly.
 
got the hest on pre order for months now, getting tired of the weekly emails letting me know its still not in stock. about to cancel the hest, like to get a 550 but wont pre order it only to sit and wait for months on end waiting on a back order to be filled. after all the wait is this going to be a let down or a joy. i suspect that there not going to be in stock for quite some time to come. any stock that comes will go to fill pre orders. this is going to be like the para 2 imo, waiting so long only to see them sold on ebay for $50 over the purchase price and all you can find otherwise is pre orders with no ship dates. totally put me off the para and fast getting that way on the hest and 550`s .:thumbdn:
