ZT 0551/0550 Questions

I've been out of the knife collecting hobby for just over a year after a very bad motorcycle accident so I'm not playing catch up. This Zero Tolerance 0551 is at the top of my list as top the knife I'm buying next but I have a couple questions.

This version uses Elmax (?) steel but what will the 0550 use? Has that information been given out yet and will the 0550 be the same knife just with different steel or will it have a flipper? Has anyone had a problem with the amount of titanium that has been removed for the lock-bar? It appears that it gets very thin down where they had to cut out some of the metal (I know they have too) but in person I assume that feels very stout?

The 0550 was supposed to have Vanax 35, but due to supply problems it will use S35VN instead. The grip pattern on the G-10 will be different, but other than that the knives are the same. The flipper is a different upcoming knife. The lockbar does get thin at the cutout, but not too thin. It still feels quite sturdy, and I haven't heard of anyone having problems with that exactly.
