Zt 0551 Blade play

Iv had my 551 of two weeks now. im past the initial break in period and everything is nice and smooth but I have slight blade play both horizontally and vertically. My pivot screw is all the way right and I have no idea why there is play. Is this normal? If not how can I fix it? Is such an issue covered by zts warranty? thanks for any help.

Sorry if this has been discussed. I searched both here and using google and came up with nothing about blade play. Maybe you could provide links or some kund of useful information about the topic b/c im getting really tired of seeing the useless "we already covered that" posts in every thread anyone starts.

This was a helpful post from one of them

"Sounds to me like the pivot screw is loose - I'd tighten it (It takes a Torxx T8 bit - both the Kershaw keychain driver and Benchmade kit, as well as sets from the 'big box' stores, will have this.) and try it again. The first one I looked at locally, when they first came out, was loose - the rest were fine. The blade's centering is a function of the pivot screw's tightness. Too loose, and that framelock's pressure will push the blade to the other side - just like your example. "
