I really like this knife but I was wondering how it carries in suit pants. I know I can carry it easily in casual attire but im not allowed to carry a knife on my college campus and im required to wear suit pants at work so thats where it would see most carry time. Seems like a chunky, heavy folder like this would be uncomfortable to pocket in dress pants. Can anyone with experience comment on this? Thanks.

I have carried good-sized folders inside the waistband. A large Sebenza, for example. Secure, out of sight, clip under the belt.

I really like how it carries in jeans, but not how it carries in dress pants/slacks.

It is too heavy and if you have finer fabric, the grittiness of the G10 could start to tear up the inside of the pocket.

I personally wouldn't recommend this knife for dress pant carry... I would recommend more of a gentleman folder, imo... or at least maybe a smaller Spyderco.

I always carried about 2:00, just forward of my right hand. Whatever you carry, keep the blade side up. This differs for tip-up and tip-down.

Doubt it would be comfortable in a suit pants pocket at all. Too heavy and bulky, and probably wear the material fairly quickly.

Esav solution sounds about the best for suit carry.

I've always carried at 3:30 IWB for your type of situation.

Interesting. I am remembering that I carried in a suit on the workfloor as a post office manager. I used the knife a lot, which probably accounts for my carrying further forward.

I have a Swisstool Spirit in its pouch on my belt right now -- at about 3:30! :)
It's there if I need it but I won't use it as often.

Great idea. Where would be the ideal spot to clip it inside the waistband?

Clip it as Esav mentioned. Keep the blade away from your Iliac Crest and even further away from your garbage. Better to be safe than sorry. ;)
