I know spyderco does there's on the southward. would like to know if zt did it to there 0560. has anyone had issues from the loch wearing out our sticking?

Well I just saw a YouTube video by smokeeater carbidizing his zt 0560, so that answers that. wonder why they don't do that.

My older model untreated 0561 did develop lock rock, which ZT fixed and had back to me in under a week. The newer versions have a steel lockbar insert (as does mine now). No lock stick or wear issues any more.

I had a 0560 that was carbidized from the factory and one that was not. I had no issues with the locks on either. The spyderco I dont believe is carbidized but carburized which is a different process to increase the wear resistance of the lock face. It is essentially a way of heat treating titanium.

How can I tell if one is our isn't? would like one, but want it carbidized or with the steel insert.
