I have one in the mail that I traded for but yesterday I came across a deal on a large sebenza that I couldn't pass on any one with both knives that can let me know if I will be unimpressed with the 0560 now. I love my 0350 and have a 0300 on the way also.

You will still be impressed, they are very different knives. I bought my 561 after buying 5 or so CRK's so you should be ok :)

I think you'll be impressed more with the 0560 then the Sebenza, especially considering the price gap. The Umnumzaan is the only CRK I've owned that I like more then most of my ZTs

Thanks for the input the price was pretty close thought $280 for a 2012 sebenza enigma 21 and $ 230 for the zt 0560

Honestly, Ive had a large sebbie and a 0560. Of the two the only one I STILL have is the 0560. It really comes down to preference. I know people love their sebenzas and thats fine, but I really struggled to find anything special about it. And yes, I had a genuine sebenza.

You'll definitely be surprised. I got a Hinderer XM-18 and when I got my ZT0560. I was sadden. The ZT0560 flips better than my Hinderer. So no worries about your purchase. Sebenzas are nice, but they don't have the "fun" factor. Enjoy them both because neither of them will disappoint.

Yeah i knew it would be a nice problem to have tomorrow's gonna be like Christmas I have a used 0300 a lnib 560 and a lnib kershaw leek g 10 coming in the mail.

My CRK folder collection includes two - a WC 'StarTac' Umnumzaan and a small Sebbie. I also have a pair of ZT-0551's and a 0561. I like the non-flippers better - but that 0561 is so smooth. The 0551 & 560/561 share ElMax blades - great knives - different animals altogether than the CRKs. No duplication there - you'll keep them both!

I got a sebenza finally last week. After all my experience with ZT I was thuroughly unimpressed....will likely get rid of it. I also got a Umnumzaan.....while it wont ever replace my 0560, that one can at least hold a candle:-)

I'll add that I was not impressed with the Sebenza either. I don't get all the hype. I do want to get my hands on an Umnumzaan sooner than later.

A little off topic, but I have noticed a HUGE number of people selling off CRK knives.

Why is that ???

Don't worry, lots of folks posted off topic. ;)

I don't think there is anything new as to why a certain knife is being seen more for sale. It happens in waves. It might be ZTs one week, the next will be CRK, then Spyderco, etc. it happens, nothing wrong. People only have so much money for their toys so when the next big thing comes alone they have to drop one before they pick up another.

There is ALWAYS people who get into sebbies and then just as quick they get out of them. The sebbie is a very odd knife. It has a core following but there are many who get one, think its amazing and then after owning more knives they come to find (at least this was my experience and a few others) that while they are a good knife you really have to struggle to come to the conclusion that they are vastly superior to a lot of the competition. Especially when some of the competition is half the price. Is the sebbie a good knife? sure. But it is NOT perfect. And ive seen plenty develop problems. But just like ferrari owners and rolex owners they will always believe that price dictates quality. IMHO this is true up to a certain price point. Take the xm18. Is that a $800 - 1200 Knife? Hell no. IMO not even the handgrounds are worth that coin. But people will pay those prices and swear to you they are worth every penny. But who wants to be driving a ferrari and admit they should have bought a vette?
