So I received a NIB 0561 in a trade and would like to tell you what I think. This is not really a review, but an overview of some sort. One of the biggest folding knives I now own and it is my first ZT. I can definitely feel how it is overbuilt. It flips very well and like a dream as it is the best one I have owned to date, but I plan on changing that with more knives in the future. I can go against gravity and with no wrist action it flips right open. I really like the texture on the titanium and the knife turned me on because I have been on a ti-framelock/flipper kick. I am not sure but I might replace the FDE scale for a custom one. The lock up is rock solid and I like the laser cut frame-lock. It is everything I expected, but it did impress me because I read on here a lot and it seems like the reviews are positive overall, but many people also get lemons or the knife is not perfect. I do not have too much to compare this knife too, but I really do love it and it is definitely a keeper. If you are thinking about getting one then I say go ahead and pull the trigger on one. The Sharpness was only adequate and did not impress me. This was my first ZT, but will definitely not be my last. (I just can not stop flipping it) I know what you flipper guys fell like a little. I compare this flipper to my Kershaw chill and a few other inexpensive flippers and they do not even compare. Basic photo of it below.

You should know that the ZT061 was my gateway drug to Zero Tolerance knives. It gets worse.

I love my 561 as well, add a couple of custom scales to change it up every now and again

I was planning on getting some custom CF scales (would like to be able to make my own, but still need to work on how to thread holes) I was thinking getting some from the "Preacher" Most likely I will, but the stock will do for now since I am low on cash plus the FDE looks better than I thought.

I just mailed mine into ZT/KAI yesterday to fix the lock bar. It would get stuck in the locked position and take a considerable amount of effort to pry out. I think the Ti was wearing down. Before that happened however, I loved it! Good thing I have a new flipper to use/play with in the mean time. (They are addictive)

I love mine.

Carried it everyday for over a year, still going strong, and nothing so far has come close to taking it's place in my pocket.

Welcome to the KVT club, gravity will engage the blade once you get it past the detent.

Pick up a 0801 also. It's another great ZT at a very reasonable price point. And I thought the flipping action was better than the 0560.

I am not sure what it is but I do not find the 801 attractive to me, but I have not seen one in person yet. Maybe the next gunshow I will try one out, but I have a few other knives that are higher on the priority and higher on the price range which is the reason it might be awhile.
