was wondering how much a zt 0561 is worth right now in fair condition, they seem impossible to find anyway though.

The ZT0560/0561 seem more popular now that they've been discontinued than when they were readily available! I don't think you'll find one for sale new at any normal vendor. You're stuck with secondary market.

Your best bet is to watch the Knife Exchange here at Blade Forums.

They come up for sale rather regularly but go quickly. In terms of price, that will depend a lot on the condition of the knife. It looks like they typically sell for $200-300, depending on condition. A NIB might go for even more.

If my memory serves me right, you probably want to try to find a late production 0560/0561. They made some changes to the lock bar late in the production run and those are generally considered better knives. YMMV. I wouldn't limit myself to just an 0561. You might be able to find an 0560 and slap a FDE scale on it for the same effect.

I got a really good condition never sharpened and still had the factory hair shaving edge for $220 I think they are an excellent value for all you’re getting so I’d say $200-280 realistically
 
I got lucky and got a 560bw with the lock bar insert on sale for $179 from bladehq a few years ago. Still never carried it, is one of my safe queens I guess you could say.
