Zt 0562 release date?

As others have said it gets released when it gets released, KAI won't say, and most estimates on previous knives have been all over the board.

If you're superstitious, or a odds/statistics nut, the 0562 just won Blade knife of the year and it may be the kiss of death for seeing them in 2014....

If my memory is right (it's frequently wrong feel free to correct me) the last three ZT knives that won that award did not hit the consumer market until the following calendar year.

0888, 0777, 0454......

The plus side is it's supposed to be regular production, so it may not have the difficulties in production the others did. While that could change it shouldn't be the insanity of the limited editions. Right now there are probably so many pre-orders that I would just wait and try and snag one after they are on the market for awhile, or at a dealer when they ship.
 
Thanks guys. I figured there wasn't a date set, I was looking for a month or season guess lol. Only ask because I want to preorder it and everywhere says they just bill you when it ships. Kinda tough to have 250$ taken out of your bank account at random you know?
 
Ive been burned on to many preorders so I dont bother anymore. A lot of the dealers oversale and you can get your knife elsewhere way before your preorder becomes available.
 
Well pre-ordered with gpknives. Hopefully all will go well. First preorder so I don't know what to expect.
 
They stay pretty tight lipped about that. You'll know when the vendors say they have them in stock. lol
