So I picked up several 0562CF's snd have been EDCing one for about a month now. I took it apart tonight to clean and thought I would try tweaking the centering which was off to Ti side a hair. Problem now is I cant get knife back together without it rubbing on CF side. Ive tried like 12 times now same problem.......any ideas????

By tweak I really just took it apart and tried to reassemble it tightening the screws down from lanyard hole to pivot. I marked the bearing so I would put them back in the way they came.

the blade should be self centering if the parts are put together properly. if the blade is all teh way to the CF side you may have the pivot too loose. You can really crank down on them and still not have them bind. But a really easy way to center your blade is to loosen all screws. Handle and pivot. Use a piece of paper to wedge the blade in the opposite direction where it is leaning to. Try it with the blade wedged centered and if that doesnt work wedge it all the way to the opposite side. But try it wedged centered first. Once the blade is wedged centered then tighten the handle screws and pivot starting from the butt of the knife first. Then finally lastly the pivot. The point of wedging the blade does two things. By loosening the screws it and then forcing the blade centered it aligns the parts to their proper location. If you still are leaning wedging it further increases the offset of these parts. If you adjusted the lockbar strength for a more positive detent you may need to tighten the pivot even more as a loose pivot with a strong lockbar tension will push the blade further over. If this doesnt work there may be a part not properly assembled.

Ill second the paper wedge method, works like a charm on my 562cf. Just loosen the pivot, wedge a card or piece of folded paper on the side u want the blade away from and tighten the pivot.

I got it back to what it was from factory a hair off to Ti side but atleast its back together and not rubbing.....going to try techniques u guys have given me and see if I can center it better.

And better yet, don't disassemble if you don't have to - a toothbrush, and some warm soapy water does magic to the knife. Oh well, this is what I tell myself every time I disassemble one. :-)

Indeed, leaving well enough alone is priceless.
