A buddy on the opposite coast I've been friends with for 40 years doesn't have anything but a Kershaw so I am giving him a ZT 566. I wanted to fw: a video on taking it apart and It would save a lot of time if I didn't have to take pics (a video would be OK, but I think for a 1st timer pics are better) send along with it. I checked the usual places and haven't seen a simple set of step by step pics, if anyone knows where someonehas done this well, I would appreciate a link. I know they are all pretty much the same, but if memory serves this is one that does pretty well de-assisted and wanted to give him that option later.
If not, I will make one and share.
I know it's not exactly the most complicated thing, but it's his first good knife and he's been "geeking out " on knives for a while and I want to encourage him. Putting together a care package with some tools, extra hardware, oil, all that stuff.
I'm lucky to have a lot of lifelong friends, but he's the only one that is really interested in getting into knives, so obviously want to encourage him.
Thanks
