Just got an 0566bw in the mail. It's a hell of a knife for 109 to 115 bucks. Sure as hell beats anything at that price point that I've held before. Too bad my wife fell in love with it as soon as she saw it.
 
I think that's a great reason to pick up another one! Expand to the 0566CF, or another 0566BW certainly wouldn't hurt... Congrats on your new knife! It's a great design to enjoy.

I had one and always wondered why the liner on the G10 side didn't get the black wash finish? Once I noticed it I couldn't stop noticing it especially when looking it it from the top or side.

I hadn't looked at the bw enough to notice that, but I like it! Maybe I'll get a bw to alternate with my standard 0566!
 
Yeah, she thought I was crazy til I got her one and now she's pretty cool with me being into them.

Kinda wish I had gotten a BW 0566 instead of just the standard, but whatever. I still love mine. It's an amazing knife for the price:thumbup:

Just kidding! The 0566 has always been one of my favorites. I am definitely getting one of these blackwash versions soon.

I'm a big fan of the blackwash finish, have a pair of Kershaws in it. Does anyone know who they make the blackwash finish? I read somewhere recently that they do a rough DLC (or maybe it was oxide) and then stone tumble it, can anyone elaborate?
