Well, bought another assisted zt, even though I thought I was done...seems like this one can deassist much easier then the 770cf I had...plus I picked it up for 130, so felt like I was getting a good deal

Pics or it didn't happen!

The 0566 is an excellent platform, and I like all the variations ZT has come out with. Blackwash is my favorite, though :D

Congrats! I have several zt's including a new 0562cf, but the 0566 is the only one I would keep if had to keep just one. After owning and carrying many different knives over the last few years, I have come to the conclusion it is the perfect knife for me. I wouldn't trade it for a sebenza.

Did you leave the assist in?

I've had it both ways, but actually went back to assisted. The detent is almost too weak in mine to flip as good as I'd like it to, but it wasn't bad. It's one of the few knives I have that I don't mind assisted. If you prefer a manual flipper, you might give it a try. Most people have had good results once they get broke in a little.

Not totally anti assist, I will probably give it a try without, I deassisted my 0350, but couldn't get it to flip good, so it's assisted...

I really like my zt's with the kvt, but I am sure this will be a great edc knife

Congrats on the 566 BW.
I have the stone-wash 566 (serial: 7096) which I de-assisted and after the break in period, I will not likely go back to assisted.
It fires smoothly and reliably every time.
Great knife in a compact package which I find is being carried more than my Spyders. That says a lot.
Enjoy.

I had one in stonewash. Never carried it and sold it. Wish I wouldn't have. I like one in BW
Congrats on the new knife. I'd like to see a pic

The 566 is a great knife and the Black Wash is my favorite looking of them. Congrats on the great deal!

The last one for size comparison...if I have to pick just one, it's going to be the 0801...all serve a good purpose, but I must say, the 0566 will probably be in my pocket more then any due to it being smaller and lighter...
