I just got an 0630 yesterday and after shredding my dang thumb [still hurts now as I'm typing] it came to me today as I was playing with the knife, and now it's a WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD.
Yes, I DID loosen the pivot but only about 1/8 of a turn and the knife is still good and tight. Now using the below method I can flick the b!t@# open 50x in a row if I want.

**WARNING Be careful doing this, I accept no responsibility if you cut yourself**
**Either use extreme caution or do NOT try this**

1] Forget about how you open other T-studded knives
2] Get your thumbnail fully UNDER the thumbdisk
3] In one fluid motion flick that thumb UP,

4]BAM!

By the way ZT and Ernie, BITCHIN BLADE!!

I saw so many pisses and moans about the detent, so I posted.
Nothing new under the sun!

Answer A] I'm talking to people who seem to have no clue on this particular knife.
If you know everything about knives that's great, thanks for the feedback, I'm sure you will go far in the knife world have you applied at Benchmade or somewhere yet?

Answer B] If you are in fact serious, please disregard the above defensive comment. And yes, nail under disk.

I had one and detent was never a problem. The problem was me squeezing the lockbar with my fingertips when I was opening the knife. Learned to grip the knife and not put pressure on the bar and my problem vanished.

Why are you so defensive?
It's only knifes...

I agree with the above post. Make sure you aren't putting any pressure on the lockbar when opening the knife or it will be very hard to open.
