That is one funky looking knife! Anyone have experience with it? Thoughts?

Not assisted - looks like it is lighter than some of the other ZT knives as well.

My friend had one, he sold it but it was a good knife, definitely not the usual ZT beefiness tho. Felt like the blade might collapse and cut my fingers off when using it hard.

Yes - The knife has the same kind of handle material as the ZT0350, with a more angular shape that feels good in my hand.

The blade is stout and thick, carrying the thickness to the tip.

It is a great knife especially if you like Tanto's - and worth filling in your ZT collection with.

Also, this is a great price, in my opinion.

Edited to add pictures - not sure why someone would feel like this knife would "collapse", look at the beefy lockbar -

Nonsense. It is thinner and lighter than most ZT's but still a lot more beefy than most liner lock knives by other manufactures. I love mine because it is an improvement on the 4 things that bother me about my 0350 being it's thinner, lighter, not assisted & no recurve. Carries almost as good as my Para 2. The handle looks a little funky but actually fits in the hand very good. Reminds me of the tilt as far as the handle shape goes. This is a great price for ZT too.

revised - my reply does not make sense now that it is not in response to the sale that the original thread was linked to

Sort of reminds me of a Tilt - handle-wise - only much.. much less expensive and I'm sure there are other differences - poor man's tilt?

That was my exact thought - the handle has a similar angular shape as does the Tilt, and it is very nice in the hand, at least for me.

Hmm. That usually doesn't happen when you put the sharp side down into the material that is being cut. Cutting with the spine is not usually recommended, YMMV.

Guys we can't have full-blown discussions in the Exchange. Posts moved.

I love mine! and like every one said, the liner lock is thick I don't see it failing under hard use...ergonomics are great, the tip is fine enough to preformed surgery (I did last week lol, the splinter was in deep) while still being fairly strong. I would buy one again:)

I like mine. It is lighter than most ZT's. Carries well in the pocket and doesn't take up to much room in the pocket. I can still get my hand into my jean pocket along side the knife. And the handle is comfortable. You wouldn't think so by looking at it, but it fits my hand well. There is only one thing I don't care for. And that is the square notch at the back of the sharpened edge. I have had that notch catch on things well cutting. Someday I may sharpen that corner.
