I'm wondering what the owners and users of the ZT 0750 think of their purchase. I just came across these, saw one a while ago but forgot about it. It looks like it could be a handy utility knife for work, opening boxes, packaging, etc. So what's the word? I've seen a couple reviews, but not much talk recently.

I'd like to hear about this to....not a lot of high quality hawk bill folders out there...

I have an older Ti talon and love it. Very slight recurve works great when opening mail, boxes, pull cuts etc. If thats what you are looking for go for it. Especially with the upgrade steel over the Kershaw variant. They are still pretty easily found too.

I love the blade shape, not sure about the handle. I'd already have one if it had a straight handle, just not sure what the upward curve would feel like in hand. If I run across a good deal on one I'll likely give it a try.

I have a talon (kershaw's smaller, more affordable version). The blade shape was awesome for cutting rope and twine, I used mine to cut a ton of bailer twine at work and was very pleased with it.

I have both the ZT and It's little brother and I love them! I can't bring myself to use the 0750 it's just too pretty.
It's just too bad that it's discontinued since it was the only hawkbill in the ZT lineup. I think they're a great investment
while you can get them. It does feel a little different in your hand if your use to the curve of the knife being against your palm.
Feels just as secure though if you were to use it for heavy cutting. It is kind of the baby of the ZT line as it is a little smaller than
what you might be use to from a ZT.

I have a 0750. #0175

I bought the 0750 because I was under the impression that it was being discontinued with the 0780. This still may be true but I see some dealers have them in stock so I'm still not 100% sure - they might actually be that hard to sell as well.

In all honesty, this knife does nothing but sit in my drawer. It's has a very bulky-brick-like handle and isn't very ergonomic. While in hand it has a hot spot in the meat of your hand under your pinky from the butt of the knife which makes it uncomfortable. The 750 does look pretty cool and I really like the G10 texture design. For me the 0750 has mostly became a novelty item... not a user.

That being said, if you think it looks cool, you should buy it! It's a neat knife.

I do believe they have been discontinued. I have a 0750, and the handle fits in my hand just fine. It's a very unique knife.

I was thinking of getting a 0750. Not sure if I'll like the hawkbill design but I've had odder knives grow on me.

And man I LOVE the 0780. If anyone sells one let me know.

Thanks for the input guys. It turns out Dave(Kershaw Guy), has a blem. I'm going to give it a try, If it turns out too dainty I'll pass it to my girlfriend. Hell, she may end up with it weather I like it or not;)

I was in love with the 780 until I held one. It feels like a cheap knife to me. Love the looks of it and all, I just wish it was.......more. 0350 level at least.

I can kind of agree with the 780 impressions. It still feels like a tank of a knife but it just feels small and week until I put an edge on it and wow it is scary sharp

I like the 0750 (and the Talon II and original Talon in Ti and G-10); for the tasks that they are intended for (pull cuts) they excel.

On the subject of the 0780, I love it! To me, it's the perfect combination of the old Wild Wild Turkey/Hawk pattern and the Skyline, in heavy duty form. And yes, it does take a scary-sharp edge! I'm glad that I got two when I could.

i should have my 750 whenever the mail man shows up today and i am super excited about having two smaller zt to carry when a 560 is not appropiate lol

Got it this afternoon, thanks to Dave's usual no messing around shipping! I think I'm going to like this for what it is.
