Does anyone know if the pivot fastener on the ZT 0770 Carbon model is a tool specific type fastener?

True that, Grownstar, but you really need two T-8's to adjust the pivot at all, since there are two fasteners opposing each other on the 770 CF.

Thanks for reminding me! I have one of those Kershaw T-Tools, as well as a set of Torx bits from Home Depot. I forget that not everyone has multiples.

Thanks to all, I purchased one, hasn't arrived yet and was trying to get a pic of the pivot. I couldn't find any clear enough to show the torx. Thanks!!

Have used the 770cf as my main EDC for about 6 months. No issues whatsoever with the stop pin. If it ever gives you issues, just send it in to ZT and they'll take care of it.
