I'm getting one if the two, just want insight from people who have handled both or own both. Which do you perfer and why? Ill eventually own both, just can't get both right now. I'm leaning towards the brous as it will be my first. I have only one zt (0561) and its perfect. Which one is do you like?

I'll probably get crap for this, but I had a Bionic in the black acid-stonewash. Right out of the box (or tube), it had vertical blade-play. Also, while it was a good flipper, when opening it slowly it just didn't feel that smooth. It felt somewhat gritty actually. But it seems like vertical play isn't the norm. If you're deadset on getting one of those two, then it depends on what size of knife you want. My Bionic was awfully small, but it did have great ergonomics and did allow for a very secure grip.

I've handled the ZT 0770 but not the Brous, ZT speaks for itself/you can deassist the model. I've heard some less than stellar responses about the rough finishing of the Bionic. It just doesn't scream 'quality' compared to his other products and reminds me of a made in china brightly coloured knife.

i wouldnt recommend the brouse bionic to anyone, i ordered one and was hugely disappointed. the knife feels real cheap for what you pay for. i would take any ZT knife over the brouse bionic, the ZT knives i have are much higher quality.

I really didn't enjoy my 770. It isn't a bad knife, but like a lot of them doesn't work super well as a manual. The washers seem to be a hair too big, so the knife is really tight to open. It functions perfectly fine as an assist, but I'm just not a huge fan of assists.

It isn't a bad knife, but most assisted knives don't function well at all as manuals. Usually the best you can hope for is that it functions almost as well as a knife that was designed as a manual flipper.

I have handled both. My boss has a 0770 and it's a pretty sweet little piece. I handled a Bionic prototype at Blade and it was a nice little knife. That being said, it seems like a lot of the production Bionics have had issues, mostly with the finish (sharp edges etc). I believe Jason has said it will be corrected on the next run of knives but you'd have to take him at his word for that and that might be hard for a lot of people around here.

Well, I ordered the 0770. Thanks for everyone's input!

I met up with Rolex John and handled his 777 (close enough) and I would say the Mini Division is closer if you wanted a Brous.

Good choice on the 770 considering the bionic was the other option! The build quality will be very very good on the ZT
