ZT 0780 Availability and ZT knives in general

Anyone know when the 0780 will be available? I am new to ZT knives and I;d like to hear what you think of them. Thanks.

There is no current release date for the 0780. I'm eagerly waiting for one as well.

With all the other stuff Kershaw/ZT have on their plate -- especially knives that are pretty much guaranteed hits like the Hinderer-designed 0550 and 056X, not to mention the 0777 -- my guess is that the 0780 is a very low priority. I'm looking forward to it too, but I'm far more excited about the Hinderer designs (especially the 056X) and Tilt, so I don't really mind that it's taken a back seat.

To answer the second part of your question ZT knives are super tough, good quality, utility based knives with excellent customer service support. I personally have had about 6 different ZT knived each one had great fit & finish and was rock solid in performance. I do not think you can go wrong with any ZT as a carry knife.

The 0551/0550 are the smallest frame locks ZT has, they are right at 3.5".

Is the 0780 going to be a frame lock?
