So people frequently ask for recommendations about new folders for less than 250$ and among the recommended, we always see the ZT 0562CF, 0452CF or 0450.

I haven't seen so many people recommending the 0920.

Is it not that popular (yet)?

Well, on the one hand I know a few people who have them and seem to really like them. On the other hand, I had to Google to remember which one it was.

Nothing against ZT, as I think their quality is excellent, but maybe it's gotten a little lost in the crowd so far? Come out with enough models and that's bound to happen to some of them.

I would be interested in that model... except it just has too big a recurve for me. A different blade, like on the other Les George Models would make all the difference.

Couple of things. It is on the large side (>3.8" blade?) such that many folks in legally restricted areas (<=3.5") may not be able to carry it. The recurve on the blade as mentioned above could be a pain when it comes to sharpening. With that being said, the 0920 appears to be a very attractive folder and is priced very fairly.

It's got that 0850esque dip in the spine that I think turned a lot of folks off.
I had one and it fit well in my hand, was built well, but the aesthetics were just too off-putting for me.

Spot on. I have an 0920. I don't like framelocks or flippers too much, and this is the only one I own, but I completely love the knife, in spite of the recurve. If I were more pragmatic I would have the 0562 instead, but the 0920 is just too sexy, and it is really a flawless knife and very deceptively light. The level of detail on this is incredible for a production knife; the milling and the chamfering are impressive, and the flipping action is exceptional. But yes, had this been designed with a blade like the George VECP it would be perfect IMO, even it would lose some aesthetic appeal in my eyes.

Yeah, I absolutely love the handle. One of the best looking examples of ZTs milling work in a long time. It just needs a different blade.

That curved spine is my delema as well, I'm afraid of getting it, having that curved spine bug me for a few months then wind up selling it. id rather avoid all that trouble and just not get it at all, although ive seen it for much less than the price its usually advertised for; even still just cant bring myself to making the move...

the design is a little less "tacticool", and that's what ZT enthusiasts seem to look for. i don't mind the handle, but the blade shape is not for me. also looks hard to sharpen, for the sharpening impaired like myself, it might be enough to stop me

The handle is absolutely great. The contour and milling of the titanium is top notch. I just couldn't get over the blade shape and recurve, so mines on the way to a new home.

i have one. i like it. the shape of the blade many dont like. size as well. seems most folks cant own or dont want larger folders.......im the opposite.

looks aside it cuts well and is a great knife while using.
