I was thinking about trying to buy one of these. Do they cut good? Do they feel like a fix 302? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a 121 and I think it is a very nice fixed blade. To answer your questions, yes it cuts well. Thick blade, very sharp and holds the edge well. The handle is a little shorter than a 302 but does feel good in my hand. It comes with a nice Kydex sheath also. My advice, go for it and enjoy it!

The ZT121 is a great knife I bought mine when they
first came out. The only drawback for me is that the
handle should be a half inch longer. It's a little bit
tight in hand.

Yeah, good choice! It's like you take a full-fledged fixed and boil it down to ZT121. Same functionality at much smaller package. By the way, I resharpened my ZT 121 #813 though mainly to even the edge . Nice piercing and cutting/slashing. Walk my dogs with it on my belt;) Also read that the design was born through communication and listening to special forces' reps' wishes. It is supposed to be a do-it-all work horse and a rescue tool. So it undoubtedly is.

When life gives you a lemon make lemonade. I mean a handle this short makes it possible to hold the knife in push dagger style. Also for those who might wonder - according to company's rep Rc value of the blade equals 59.
