I will say right up front for years I have been a benchmade guy. I still appreciate their work and will contiunue to by Benchmade products, but after handeling the zt 200, it won't be as often.

This is the one knife I could not wait to get. NGK got it to me in 2 days and as soon as I open the box I was stunned.

I really don't know where to start in describing this knife. It honestly blows away any liner lock I have ever had. The handles are pure genious. The are the perfect texture. Very comfortable in the hand. For being such a big knife it fits really well in my pocket.

I really like 154Cm steel, but this is one thick blade (which I love). One of the sharpest I have had out of the box.

I really wish everyone could get their hands on one of these, even if you don't like big folders you can't help but appreciate the craftmanship in this knife.

I have not had the chance to use the knife much but in 3 weeks I am hiking to the peak of Sierra Blanca and can't wait to break it in.

Kudos to Kershaw for producting such a great knife. I can't wait to get some more Kershaws in, I won't have to wait long since I just bouhgt a JYD2 and a Lahar.

I will write a follow up after I am back from my trip.

Just my .02 from a new Kershaw supporter.

sweet. great pick up(s). i have the JYDII and Lahar. both are great knives. enjoy! make sure to take pics from your trip

ajdddyoung,

Thanks for the support, we hope to see some pictures of you and you 0200 soon.
The 0200 as well as the JYDII should give any frame lock there run for the money.
Looking forward to your thoughts.

Got a ZT 200 and a ZT 300 just days apart from each other this week. Both are incredible in their own right. I had to get a ZT 200 after a recent review I saw on it. When I got it I too was pleasantly suprised. The ZT 300 is definitely a nice and subtle change but both really kick ass!!!! These are also my first Kershaws and I don't think they will be my last.

That's an understatement I completely understand. Got my hands on one during a passaround and just wanted to yell "why didn't you tell me?!"

I just placed my order for the ZT200 and went ahead and got the ZT300 also, so I'm really excited to get them in my hand. I've not seen any bad reports for either knife. I really do like the fact that both knives are heavily built and look to have clips that allow most of the knife to disappear into the pocket.

WOW, that was quick! UPS just delivered my ZT's a few minutes ago. Initial impresions tell me I've two winners on hand. The 200 is everything everyones said and I really like it. The 300 is also sweet, especially with the AO feature it has, almost automatic knifelike! Fit and finish out of the box is excellent. Grind lines on both knives are perfect and both shave hair very easily. I like the clips on these knives much better than the large clips Kershaw uses on some of their other knives since they aren't as "showy" and they do a good job of holding the knife in the pocket, and not drawing atention to it, from what I can tell early on. So far I'm pleased as I can be and glad I made the purchase of both knives. If your on the fence these are great knives to have!:D:thumbup:
