zt 200 mod question

Hey i am looking at getting a zt0200 and i want to strip it and stonewash it (will this void the warranty) and the u am wondering if you could modify it to fit the bearings from alpha knife supply (the ones imbedded in the nylon washer) if it will work then ill pick up a blem if not and stonewashing it wont void the warranty then i will get a brand new one

Yes you could take the coating of but it would have to be sanded, and I don't think it will void the warranty.....also you could have bearings installed but the milling involved would be expensive and could easily screw up the knife...the easiest thing to do would be to get a satin 0200 and have it stonewashed.

Yeah it's safe to say the warranty will be gonzo after stripping and sanding it down. I want a zt 0200 for the same thing after seeing nevermore's awesome one. Rival told me acid etching it would void the warranty, so get a blem.
