 I love the Zero Tolerance line. Rock Solid craftsmanship. The ZT-300 line of knives is plain awesome. I don't own one. I handled one the other day. And thought this is the perfect knife for being out in the Field, hunting, camping.. But to carry around that knife in an urban setting would be a little bulky.

My question.. Would Zero Tolerance ever make a slighly smaller knife? Maybe with a 3" to 3.25 inch blade and 4.5" handle. I could EDC that knife all day and when I go on EMT/rescue calls it would still perform flawlessly.

Heck I will probably still buy a ZT-301. After holding that knife, I felt like i could chop down a birch tree. lol:D

Yes, ZT301 is a great knife. I have one and it doesn't act like a big knife(except for the weight).
I could go with a smaller 300 series,(3 1/4 to 3 3/8 blade) but I doubt if it will happen, this is a police/tac line of knives. Although Strider makes some in that approx size?? ;);) Who knows?

I agree with gull wing that with respect to carry, the only thing that seems a little large to me about the ZT030X series is the weight...in hand it's just fantastic for its size and also slim enough to carry...;)

Don't think it has to say Zero Tolerance for it to be high quality. Most Kershaws are EXTREMELY durable! The Cyclone and Spec Bump are very strong knives that are great EDCs. The RAM is also worth a look!

The Spec Bump is on the bottom, below the ZT0200

Today I carried my DAM Leek, ZT0301 and the Tyrade.
I must have a good belt. :D
