I'm looking to buy a ZT and I'm not sure if the added cost of the 300 is worth it compared to the 350. Need some help with this one.

I'd go with the 300 the 350 is a fine knife by all means but the 300 is more well um ZT ish.

The 300 is one big horse of a knife. If you are looking for something for discrete carry, the 300 isn't it.

I own a 0300, and as far I as I can tell the biggest difference is the size.
the 350 is not as thick across and a bit smaller all around from what I have read.
I love my 0300, its a beast, I actually carry it daily and use it. I have cut serious stuff
with it an its still sharp enough to shave with.

I'd recommend starting out with the 0350. Its flat profile and lighter weight makes it a better EDC for many people. The AO is snappier, too. Here's a comparison pic with the 0200, 0300, 0301, and 0350KW.

Besides, the real BF answer is buy both. You know you will.;)

Agree with PG- The 0350 makes an excellent EDC without the extra bulk of the 0200 and 030x.

But, since I have the 0350, I'm really wanting a 0300! :D

I agree with PG and ono724 re. taking the 0350 over the 0300.

I have the 0350 and the 0200 and I end up carrying the 0350 much more of the time due to it's pocketability - it is still a substantial knife for any task you want to throw at it. I can't see you being disappointed by it...

Another vote for the "Baby Z" (350) due to it's pocketability and the street price is about half the cost of the 300.
I've had mine less than a week and for the time being it's kicked my 551 out of my pocket.

Wow - Gollum that is really interesting to hear. Realistically the 0350 is as big as I regularly carry and as we all know it is only of use if it's with you...

I am really tempted by the 0550 (even though I'd prefer a flipper) so it is interesting to hear that you're carrying the more than the 0551. They are about the same weight aren't they 5.8 oz I think? So given the similar weights I was 'rationalizing' that I'd still carry an 0550 but...

Any chance of some side-by-side comparison shots? Don't worry if you don't have time...

Thanks anyway,

Ben

Firstly, I fear I am at risk of hijacking this thread - apologies to all involved.

Secondly, thanks so much for those comparison shots Gollum - they are great shots and exactly what I wanted. I guess there isn't that much difference in pocketability between them eh? Or am I just trying to justify another knife purchase?!?

I really appreciate you taking the time.

One last thing - approximately how much thinner is the 0350 compared to the 0551?

Thanks again. I really appreciate it...

Ben

Thanks for the advice brother.

Pocketability weight, thickness is not a big difference but is noticeable to me.
Previous post updated with more pics.

Man, everytime I see a 0301, I die a little inside. :D

Need to make getting one of those a priority.
