Howdy folks,

I haven't been as active around knives as long as many of the folks around here and I tend to waver and go back in forth on what I want and need too often for my own good, but the one knife I've wanted since I first laid eyes on and never really wavered from is the beastly zt300 series. Since then, I've bought cheaper knives, more expensive knives, talked myself into smaller carries, convinced myself I should just carry a pocket fixed blade, and pretty much every combination of desires I can think of. After all of the reviews I've read on pretty much everything out there, I think I've finally convinced myself I should buy and carry what I want.

I think I even have the proper justification for ordering one. My family decided to expand our cattle operations (nothing too major, but it is a fun family side business) and I can think of absolutely nothing better to put in my pocket for ranching work around here. Hopefully I'll get a chance to order one in the next couple of days, and that means lots of use pictures from me. Anyway folks, I don't think I have any real questions here, but I am excited and thought I'd share a little bit!

The classic ZTs produced at the advent of the brand in 2006 will always be with us: 0100, 0200 series and 0300 series.

Others will come and go with varying degrees of success (0350 series home run while 0700, 0750 and 0780 not so much).

The best are the practical limited edition ones. You can look, touch, admire, play and put to work at will!

My 0301 is my work knife. She is a beast, and she'll handle whatever you throw at her, with a smile.

My Paypal is now cash filled from a sale, I just emailed kershawguy a couple of quick questions, and hopefully I can place my order tonight!

Excellent! You should have it by Wednesday, as Dave has distribution centers located near everyone!

I would get a blem if it's going to be a worker.

Though in generally I like the idea of a blem, I'm such a sucker for good warranties I think I'll stick to the non blems. I have a long list of items I've never needed the warranty on that I bought just because they had such a fantastic warranty, but it's a nice reassuring feeling to know that if something crazy happens its not a total loss. I'm super excited to get my hands on one and put it to work.
